Next WOW Photo Club meeting is on, February 18, in the "Fellowship Hall," located in the basement of the main sanctuary. I have just been informed by Kim Davidson that there is not a WOW Dinner this Wednesday so I'll be treating the club to pizzas and soft drinks that night. Let's meet at 6 PM in the Fellowship Hall and I'll have two large pizzas with soft drinks, napkins and cups.
A special thank you to Jim Underwood as he will be letting us use this LCD projector. This will be a tremendous tool for doing our presentations. Thank you Jim!
Here's the agenda:
- Elect the club leaders (this should take about 15 minutes).
- Show'N tell of members' photos where members are encourage to show off one or two photographs and discuss what went into their photographic process.
- Waldy demonstrates navigating our Flickr Club site, our WOW Photo Club Blog, and if time permits uploading photos with Picasa.
- Q&A with Waldy
At 7:30 PM some of the members leave for choir practice, but the rest of us are free to stay another 10 to 20 minutes for friendly chat and discussion. Club leaders will also meet for a few minutes.
Please note on your calendars the meeting on March 18 as Kim Davidson will be talking about family photography. That should really be good.
